If I had a choice, I would rather die than suffer waiting for the day where “things will be better” that might not exist. If my mother would have a better life if I was never born, then so be it. I love her enough to not jeopardize her happiness for my chance at life. Because I am not selfish like the rest of you.
And it is always better to never see it at all than have to see my own mother cry over how much of a disappointment I am, and how her life could have been so much better if I was never born.
